It's been a long time since I've made any updates, but it's been a very busy year!
We are making many improvements to Good Fortunes Farm, including jumps, buildings, pastures, and more. I built a water truck for the farm, giving us more flexibility to water plants around the farm as well as paths and fields.
The team went on a European tour, including events in the UK, Ireland, and Germany. I joined them for Luhmuhlen, in Germany, and Jeanna and I had a bit of vacation of our own after. We explored Hamburg and Munich, and even went to a EuroCup match in Munich!
We survived a hurricane, losing power but not major damage. We lost a lot of trees, but took care of that, with the help of my father in law.
Lincoln got a new sister, Eleanor, who is a wonderful, adorable puppy who is growing up to be a great addition to the farm.
I used some of the downed trees from Huricane Helene to build jumps, with more planned with the smaller logs.
I have had a feed room updgrade on my list for a long time, and I finally got around to making that happen.
And finally, after getting a new well pump out in this summer, I finally put a roof on the irrigation station so that the electricity and computers would be protected from the weather.
We have a lot more planned for the near future, but I look forward to making more jumps for the farm and for local clients, and look forward to taking on more projects on the farm!
