And I am certainly not the only one, if you just don’t care for my particular style, there are so many other artists and craftsmen/ craftswomen out there creating lovely work . ☺️

Here is one that I never finished! It is from 7 years ago!

Honestly, I think one of the biggest reasons that I hit this point in paintings, and it only seems to be paintings, is that I really like where they are and I’m afraid that I’m going to totally destroy them if I continue to put on the paint. Plus this one is a really weird size so it’s not going to be easy to frame. ( This is a bad habit I have fixed since then; the creating of a piece without a set size parameter. 🙄)

I’m really not good at giving names to my artwork, but this is the only thing I could come up with. I do have a serene feel as I look at this one, the brush marks are intriguing, the colors are calm in a gentle wake you up kind of way. This style of painting is not easy, I think it took me about a year to work on it. Not everyday of course, but it becomes harder to do as I get closer to finishing. Then letting it sit as I check in and look at it again and again, with good company of course.
