It is often said, "Do what you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." This sentiment resonates deeply with my personal experience. My passion for travel has seamlessly evolved into the creation of children's travel books. Having explored over 45 countries, my two preferred regions are the Mediterranean and the Middle East, which also serve as the settings for my book, ~The Princess of Sapphires and Sand~.

I am grateful that the Garland Central Library has incorporated ~The Princess of Sapphires and Sand~ into its Local Author Collection. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony as I was at the Historic Grand Prix in Monaco. It seems quite fitting that I was visiting "the Sapphire Kingdom" during the event.

Are you ready for some fútbol? Let's begin your adventure.

I have traveled to over forty-five countries, and I am willing to travel pretty much anywhere at least once. Navigating three countries and sixteen cities is challenging, even for seasoned travelers. I have created a list of bingo cards to help you plan your summer of fútbol 2026 as you visit North America. Can you get BINGO while rooting for your favorite team in one or more of the 16 host cities?

⚽️ The bingo cards for each host city contain 24 squares listing attractions, local food, and museums for quick reference. The cards will help you create a checklist and decide what to see before heading to your destinations. You are now prepared for a summer of fútbol and city exploration. Let's plan it one BINGO square at a time.

The cities included are as follows.

Hi, I’m Tani Lamb—an avid international traveler who has explored over 45 countries and believes in the golden rule of travel: travel often, journey far, and take nothing but memories, souvenirs, and photos.
I’m passionate about making travel a delightful adventure rather than a dreadful headache. I had a wonderful experience at the Lemon Festival in Menton, France in February of 2024. I would recommend pairing the Lemon Festival with the Carnival in Nice, France to optimize your visit to the French Riviera.

This restaurant is located in Addison, Texas, also known as "Restaurant Row" because Beltline Road in Addison has over 170 restaurants.
Ardy’s Mediterranean Fusion is situated in Addison Circle and the flavors will transport you to the Levant and beyond. The food is delicious and I can't wait to return! If you're in Dallas, make sure you add Addison to your list.

When you travel solo, the entire trip rests on your shoulders. I always begin packing a few weeks before my trip to ensure I have everything I need.
Now, I am a travel advisor and I suggest that my clients do the following things two weeks prior to their international trips.

1. Do you have a travel card? I suggest acquiring one to avoid the 3% foreign transaction fee.
2. Register with STEP Program https://travel.state.gov
3.Order the country's currency. Examples: The European Union= Euros (€) The United Kingdom=British Pound Sterling (£)
4. Set a travel alert with your bank.
5. Make a copy/take a picture of your passport, upload it to your cloud and send a copy to your emergency contact back home.
6. Purchase travel insurance.*It is recommended to purchase your insurance as soon as you make the first payment on your trip.
7. Print a paper copy of your itinerary and place it in your carry-on.
