There was a lot that was new and different this year, and evaluations are especially important to helping us fine-tune the Festival for next year. We know how the NEFFA community works: we did our best to organize things this year, and then crowds of folks descended for the weekend to poke into every corner and check every detail. Now is the time to give us helpful suggestions for future years. We really do read these evaluation forms! Use the big blue button on the homepage of www.neffa.org to submit your evaluation today.

Lost a water bottle? Took the wrong jacket by mistake? Forgot your dance shoes (or maybe just one of them)? We can’t promise to find lost earrings, but we have buckets of Lost and Found items from the Hotel and the Trade Center. If you’re missing an item, or found something you meant to drop off, please email [email protected] with your name and a description of the item. We will do our utmost to reunite our findings with their owners!

Have you ever wondered about the mysteries of running a sound board? The NEFFA Sound crew will be offering an introduction in the Marlborough Room at 6:30pm on Friday, April 21. As long as you've picked up your wristband you are welcome to attend. No experience required.

Yes, we're trying wristbands instead of tickets this year! It's a break with tradition, we know, but we'll see how it goes, and we welcome your feedback afterwards.
Wear a button or a nametag with your name on it, if you have one from a camp or another event! We’ll also have plenty of stick-on name tags available.
We'll have safety pins available for people who can't stand to wear a wristband, so you can pin the band to your clothes, if you prefer.

NEFFA is in a new place, and we are all learning our way around. Here are 8 things you can do to get you in the door and singing and dancing as soon as you can!

1) Buy advance tickets until midnight on Wednesday, April 19.
2) Upload your vax card in advance until midnight on Wednesday, April 19.
3) Check the Getting to the Festival page for maps and directions to the Best Western Royal Plaza.
4) Arrive extra early to find the venue, park, and walk to the hotel for check-in. Doors open one hour before the program starts (see tickets.neffa.org for opening hours).
5) Study the site map so you know where your check-in station is (Tickets, Volunteers, Performers). You must pass through COVID check and get a handstamp first.
6) Bring your approved face mask. See the COVID policy for details.
7) Use the Festival entrance to the side of the hotel, not the hotel main entrance. There will be no check-in at the Trade Center, only at the hotel.
8 NEFFA accepts cashless payments for tickets, membership, donations and performer sales. Credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay are all supported, as well as cash and checks.

Our group rate at the Best Western Royal Plaza has expired, but there have been some cancellations and a few rooms are available at the current market rate. Even if you cannot come to NEFFA, the Festival will come to you! Registration is now open for the Festival livestream from the Seminar Room. Register now at http://tinyurl.com/neffa2023zoom for a personalized link to the Zoom meeting that will run throughout the Festival. This will be the same link for all three days.

Seminar Room concerts will be broadcast Friday 7-10pm, Saturday 10am-9pm, and Sunday 11am-5pm. Check out the schedule at https://www.neffa.org/folk-festival/schedule/ and don’t forget the NEFFA Annual General Meeting at noon on Sunday in the Seminar Room!

There is no charge for the NEFFA livestream, though donations are always welcome at www.neffa.org. There is a DONATE link in the footer at the bottom of every page.
