Hi everyone!

While I wait to hear back from the town on my store opening, I took a little break and headed to Utah for a Simple Stories Retreat! ✂️💙 I had actually planned to attend this retreat long before I decided to open Paper Willow.

There were definitely times when I wasn’t sure I would be able to go with everything I had to get done for the store. I had even made plans for Stan to cover the store while I was away…and then, unfortunately, that wasn’t needed. 😔

But I’m so glad I was able to make the trip!

I attended the retreat with my scrapping friend, Jenn Young. I met Jenn about 10 years ago through South Shore Scrappers. She moved to Arizona during COVID, so it was wonderful to meet up with her and two of her friends in Utah.

The Simple Stories instructors were absolutely top-notch — Paige Taylor Evans, Jana Eubank, Becki Adams, Amber from Simple Stories, and many more! I will come home with so much inspiration, new techniques, ideas, and beautiful samples.

And the best part? I’ll have so many new things to share with all of you when Paper Willow opens! 💙✂️📚

I’m still waiting for the final word from the town, and I’ll share an update as soon as I have one. In the meantime, I’m excited to bring a little bit of what I learned in Utah back home to Paper Willow.

Have a great Sunday!

Maureen

Hi everyone

As many of you know, I have been working non-stop getting Paper Willow ready to open, with lots of help from my wonderful family and friends. Unfortunately, our Open Houses and store opening have been delayed. 😔

We are just waiting for the final approval from the town. As soon as I receive it, I will make an announcement with our new Open House and store opening dates.

I am truly sorry for the inconvenience. I know so many of you were as excited as I was for opening week, and I really appreciate your patience and understanding.

But have no fear — Paper Willow WILL open, and I promise it will be worth the wait! 💙

I can't wait to welcome you through the doors very soon.

Thank you for all of your support, encouragement, and excitement for Paper Willow!

Thank you, Maureen
