Out TODAY, Morgan Freeman’s Symphonic Blues Experience takes listeners through 100 years of blues across 12 tracks, blending powerful performances with Freeman’s unmistakable narration. 💙

Recorded in part at Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, the album celebrates the music born in the Mississippi Delta and its influence around the world. 🎵 🎸

And here’s another Mississippi connection: The final track is “I Lied to You,” from the Oscar-winning film Sinners, which was filmed in Mississippi and brought Delta blues and juke joint culture to audiences around the world. 🎬🎶

The album is also eligible for the 2027 Grammy Awards. 👀

“After a 30-year hiatus, the legendary Parchman Band is making music again – giving inmates, Hope and purpose in the process.” And they’re headed to the Bukka White Blues Festival stage!

They’ve been performing with Charlie Worsham and Jimbo Mathis and just completed a tour that included The Grammy Museum.
