Before we talk programs, bursaries, or projects... let’s talk about the Uganda we wake up dreaming of every morning:

🌟 OUR VISION 🌟
A Uganda where children and youth are educated, culturally proud, and spiritually mature — raised by their own community through art, media, and the Word. Deuteronomy 6:7

Read that slowly. That sentence is LAMFO. Everything we do flows from it.
Let me show you how:

1. EDUCATED → “No Child Left Behind Because of Fees”
The #1 reason children drop out in Uganda is not lack of brains. It’s lack of school fees.

LAMFO’s Answer: The 50/50 Bursary Model:
We pay 50% of school fees from income of drama shows + cultural screenings.
Parents/guardians pay 50%. This isn’t charity. It’s dignity, responsibility, and sustainability.
Fees are paid directly to partner Secondary + Primary Schools in Seeta, Mukono & Kampala every term. No cash to middlemen.

2026 BURSARIES NOW OPEN:
Secondary: S1, S2, S3, S5
Primary - Academic Bursaries:P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, P6, P7
Who qualifies: Needy but bright + disciplined learners from church & community. Must have good report card + commitment to finish school.
Deadline: 30th April 2026. Limited slots.

2. CULTURALLY PROUD → “Our Culture is Our Curriculum”
We refuse to let Uganda’s children grow up thinking “culture is old” and “foreign is better.”

LAMFO’s Answer: Training + Production:
1. Youth Skills Training: Free/practical training in Acting, Scriptwriting, Filming, Video Editing, Music Production, Sound, Public Speaking. S4/S6 leavers get direct mentorship from media experts.
2. Culture Pays School Fees: We organize drama shows, concerts & school/church screenings. Gate collections fund 50% of next term’s bursaries.
3. Ugandan Content: We use Luganda proverbs, dance, drums, riddles, and cultural stories as teaching tools. Because a child who knows their roots will never be lost.

LAMFO is a community-based organization in Seeta, Mukono District, Uganda dedicated to Helping, Raising & Supporting Children and Youth THROUGH ART, MEDIA, EDUCATION & GOSPEL CULTURAL EDU-TAINMENT.

Our Vision
A Uganda where children and youth are educated, culturally proud, and spiritually mature — raised by their own community through art, media, and the Word. _Deuteronomy 6:7_

Our Mission
We provide 50/50 school bursaries and practical skills training to keep needy children in school and prepare youth for life. We use Uganda’s diverse cultures, proverbs, drama, music and media to grow spirituality in homes, churches and schools.

Our Core Activities
1. Education Support - 50/50 Bursary Model
LAMFO pays 50% of school fees for talented needy and bright children. Parents/guardians pay 50%. This ensures dignity, responsibility, and sustainability. Fees are paid directly to partner schools every term.

2. Training in Arts, Media & Life Skills
Students from our partner schools + professional media experts train youth in acting, dancing and scriptwriting, filming, editing, music production. S4/S6 leavers get hands-on mentorship.

3. Gospel Cultural Edu-tainment Production
We create drama series, music and short films like “The Power of the Word” that use Luganda proverbs, dance, and cultural stories to teach biblical truth about family, character, and redemption.

4. Cultural Entertainment & Community Screenings:
We stage gospel cultural edu-tainment music with dances, shows and free school/church screenings. Gate collections and donations fund 50% of the next term’s bursaries. Our culture pays school fees.

Our Partners
We work closely with Secondary Schools and Primary Schools in Seeta, Mukono and Kampala to identify needy learners, monitor performance, and deliver our training programs within schools.
