Juventus were relegated from Serie A to Serie B in 2006, despite finishing the 2005/06 season at the top of the league.

The relegation was a disciplinary punishment resulting from the Calciopoli scandal, a major Italian football investigation concerning improper relationships and communications between club officials and refereeing authorities.

Following the sporting investigation and appeals, Juventus were:

- ⬇️ Relegated to Serie B
- ➖ Given a 17-point deduction for the 2006/07 Serie B season after the original penalty was reduced
- 🏆 Stripped of the 2004/05 and 2005/06 Serie A titles
- 🏆 The 2005/06 title was subsequently awarded to Inter Milan

Therefore, Juventus were not relegated because of their sporting performance or league position.
They were relegated as a result of disciplinary sanctions connected to the Calciopoli case.

Juventus spent one season in Serie B and returned to Serie A in 2007 after securing promotion.
