The Buganda Youth Council, led by Csl. Derrick Kavuma, yesterday paid a courtesy visit to the home of Mr. Kibuuka in Kasangati to congratulate the young Ms. Tracy Nalugwa Kibuuka, who won the position of Local Council I (LC.1) Chairperson of Nangabo Village at a young age.
Csl.Derrick Kavuma commended Ms. Tracy Nalugwa Kibuuka for the courage and determination she demonstrated by stepping forward, despite her young age, to contest against people older and more experienced than her, and emerging victorious.
The Chairperson noted that the example set by Tracy Nalugwa Kibuuka is an inspiration to other young women, encouraging them to believe in themselves and pursue their goals without fear of challenges.
The Buganda Youth Council presented Ms. Tracy Nalugwa Kibuuka with a portrait of His Majesty the Kabaka and encouraged her to remain committed to the values and dignity of the Nnamulondo. The Council also gifted her a copy of the law governing the operations of village courts to enable her execute her duties in accordance with the law and principles of justice.
The Chairperson appreciated Mr. Kibuuka for raising his children well and supporting them in achieving their aspirations.
The Buganda Youth Chairperson was accompanied by Omulongo Recon Kaggwa, the Youth Treasurer; Mr. Nassif Kulumba, the Clan Representative; Ms. Florence Nakandi, Deputy Youth Chairperson of Busiro County; and Ms. Recheal Nalugya, Chairperson of Nkobazambogo at Makerere University Business School (MUBS) and Assistant Minister for Youth Affairs in the Endiga Clan.
