Nyange Cultural Performers

Nyange Cultural Performers Guardians of heritage & tradition 🎶💃 Nyange Cultural Performers: Preserving Uganda's rich cultural legacy through music, dance & drama 🙏

Nyange was founded in 2014 by a lady, who lost her mum and dad at a tender age of 5 years in central region of Uganda basically to help indiduals of the same challenge but with a talent hidden in them. The nyange foundation provides education to marginalized communities. Nyange acts on the belief that children’s well being is achieved by strengthening their talents, school environment as well as

the home environment. This is done through a portfolio of projects that are locally proposed and managed, and supported by well wishers

For the past eight years, nyange has been working on increasing on the educational levels as well as improving on the talents awareness within wakiso district. This has been done through partnership with katabalo community foundation and cowesa health clinic. The goal of the project is to improve educational access to the youth, together with sanitation and health practices within targeted communities. Within the framework of grassroots change, nyange focuses on empowering the communities through the creation of local Water User Committees. These committees work to accomplish WASH goals, and instill ownership of clean water sources in the community.
