Over the weekend, Queen of West Nile Alobo Patricia participated in the Gulu Menstrual Hygiene Run organized by the HerWorth Foundation. Period poverty is a critical issue that affects many women and girls, resulting in missed educational and work opportunities, and adversely impacting health.

The aims to address this crisis and empower the community. Queen Alobo is committed to understanding these efforts in order to implement similar initiatives back home.

Former Miss Uganda Westnile, Celine Jackie, along with current Miss Uganda Westnile Queen, Letaru Patricia, our newly crowned Queen of Westnile, Alobo Patricia, and 1st Runner-up Queen, Awezi Gloria, are paying a visit to an orphanage at Arua Primary School. They'll be engaging in crocheting sessions and donating educational materials and clothing to the Heart for a Widow group in Ociba, Arua.

On the enchanting evening of the crowning ceremony, Properiator of Gloval Village Resort Pakwach, Dr. Oyath Geoffrey Gidaga, accompanied by his cherished wife and son, graciously presented a family gift to our esteemed winners. The gifts included:

Queen of Westnile, ALOBO Patricia, was awarded a brand new Laptop along with a generous cash prize of 500K.

1st Runner-up, Ms. Awezi Patricia, received a brand new Samsung A03 phone coupled with a cash token of 300K.

2nd Runner-up, Ms. Piramit Shamim Owiny, was honored with a brand new Samsung tablet alongside a cash token of 200K.

Additionally, each of the 9 contestants received a heartfelt token of 100K from the family.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Global Village Family for their enthusiastic support of the pageant and their significant contribution to its success. Once again, congratulations to all our radiant contestants
