The factory is still working and the molds are intact, therefore more Mantis-head DSDs will be produced in the future. But as I mentioned, at a higher price because production costs are now higher. But rest assured, we will do our best to produce more so that everyone that needs one has one (up to the maximum amount of 300 DSDs, of course, as marked on the feet). This all is a consequence of the insane Ukraine invasion, but those war scenarios don't last forever and Retro Robot was launched more than 8 years ago (I mean, releases have been slow anyways, so waiting a bit more for your DSD won't be that big of a problem), so, don't get too upset about not having won the raffle, ok?
It was only fair to give 44 people the chance to have it already, without waiting. And a random raffle was the only good option.

All Yodas (which are already packed) bring a little promotional gift inside: a red postcard depicting: Shturmovik, Tsar Veytar, Silver Humanoid, Red Astrorobot and our favorite Cosmic Hunter 🔫🦾 And an attached special adhesive USSR postal stamp designed by Gonz, with dictator Tsar Veytar reigning over it 😁 The bad guys in Retro Robot are a mashup of the USSR and Tsarist Russia (which were both totalitarian regimes) while the rebels are Tsar Veytar's kids and their friends

(DSDs are also packed but don't include this postcard, because they were packed before it was designed and produced)

ANNOUNCEMENT - PART 2: RESTOCKING of Number #2 HERMIT GURU

This saturday 21st February at 20:00 h CET (Central European Time, Madrid, Paris, Berlín) we will be restocking our Yoda figure (Hermit Guru). Still of course within the amount of 300 numbered painted figures that we promised we would release maximum of each figure (these ones in particular are numbered from 115 to 193, and will be shipped randomly).

We will have 78 of these Yodas available, recently painted by the same crew that painted the R2-D2 and R5-D4 for us, so you know the quality already. 100% made in brass, including all its accessories: orange snake, brown cane (two random tones: light brown and dark brown), and black blaster. And the usual extras.

These figures are rarely available in restocking so if you need one, once we post the main publication here on our page this saturday at 20:00 h CET, please make sure to type "CLAIM YODA" in the comments. We will then ask Yoda buyers to pay for Yoda plus shipping ON SATURDAY. If the next day (Sunday) you are also one of the people who gets the chance to buy the Death Star Droid after the raffle takes place, you will just need to pay the difference before we can ship the DSD to you alongside the one (or more than one) Yodas that you buy.

If you want the Yoda AND you also want to participate in the raffle for the chance to buy one Death Star Droid, you can of course type both things in the comment at the same time: "CLAIM Yoda + RAFFLE". And you will be included in the DSD raffle as well.

PS: The paint is slightly different in tone compared to the 2018 release. Lighter brown clothing, more cream/white rather than brown, with some random "use" marks applied on it; different tone of green on head, hands and feet; slightly different orange tone on the snake and different brown tones on the cane too. This is because the current painting crew works with a different painting technique, a different brand and type of paint, and this is the closer they managed to replicate the original colors. So, in spite of us not wanting to create a variant, it's still kind of a variant, for whoever is into that (it was this or nothing, it's difficult to find good and not crazy-expensive painting crews). It's still just painted a Yoda for those who just want one of each in their collection.

ANNOUNCEMENT - PART 1: Number #6 SILVER HUMANOID will be released this next saturday February 21st, 2026 at 20:00 h CET (Central European Time: Madrid, Paris, Berlin), ONLY 44 FIGURES (forty-four). The chance to get one will be raffled among all the customers who are interested, that will have to pay on Sunday at 20:00 h CET right after the raffle takes place.

This beautiful figure has been delayed for a while due to the current geopolitical problems and their impact on our logistics. But they're finally here. The only downside is that this figure was produced in a small first production test of only 44 units, alongside the production of 200 C-3POs, back in the day. I sometimes do this because I want to make sure that we have at least a small amount of a variant in stock, in case any production problems arise (which is exactly what happened).

We haven't been able to produce any more amounts of this specific item, and it's unclear if we will be able to do it in the future. If there is any chance, even if it's small and at a higher price, we will let our customers know and they'll decide. But for the moment there are 44 UNITS available. Grab them while you can.

We will proceed as follows: the second the figure is released on a specific post on this page, saturday at 20:00 h CET, anyone interested in participating in the raffle will have to type "RAFFLE" on the comments. We will then give 24 hours for anyone interested to post this same comment. Sunday 22nd at 20:00 h CET we will take all the names of each person interested and we will record the online raffle. 65 people will be selected, in order, from 1 to 65. THE FIRST 44 PEOPLE WILL GET ONE. The following 21 will be included on a waiting list. Then we will ask the buyers to pay in order, from 1 to 44 (the specific figure numbers are random though). They will have to pay immediately or we will move to the next buyer. You can use your credit card on paypal to facilitate immediate payment. Therefore, if anybody doesn't pay, the people numbered 45 to 65 will get a chance to buy it this sunday, IN STRICT ORDER. Then the figures will be shipped out 7-10 days after the payment is received.

At least there is some of them available! And it's not a bad amount of figures.

Additionally US BUYERS, please be informed that we have sent several test parcels to the US in the last couple of months by ECONOMIC LIGHT PARCEL through the postal service, and they have arrived without a problem. We have declared a value of 8 Euros per figure, and we have paid the customs here in Spain so you don't have to pay anything on arrival. I'd like to give full guarantee and safety to US buyers that their parcels will arrive or we will fully refund them. The shipping cost is just slightly higher than last year, plus 3 or 4 euros of customs value, but it's still a very reasonable shipping cost.
