Noneside Mix Series #142: Soyma
https://soundcloud.com/noneside/mix142

"This mix is my take on an autumn exacerbation — that strange moment when the season changes and everything feels a little sharper. Colder air, darker evenings, restless energy and a stronger urge to move. Not melancholic, but intense in a good way. The selection moves through hypnotic grooves, progressive tension, broken rhythms and darker electronic textures. It’s made for those first cold nights when you don’t want summer to end — you just want to turn the volume up and go deeper. A mix for an autumn state of mind: more pressure, more movement, more feeling."

viDa, a Paris-based DJ and producer, who's been DJing for many years, even released some records on Japanese Seven Samurai Records, record a beautiful mix for us! His approach has always been driven more by selection, atmosphere and storytelling, than by sticking to a specific genre. Mix for Noneside listeners reflects that approach, and moving through electro, breakbeat, deep techno and progressive and mental territories. The mood evolves throughout the set, sometimes deep and hypnotic, sometimes more energetic and unexpected, while keeping a continuous flow and a strong focus on groove. Listen on Soundcloud, dance like never before, and don't forget to donate to Musicians Defend Ukraine Foundation ! ⚡️

Noneside Mix Series #139: Rantil

Danish DJ and producer RANTIL, who grew up in Billund and recently returned to Denmark after eight formative years in Berlin, recorded a minimal trancy deep tech sound mix for Noneside listeners ❤️ He dont use any META apps, so soundcloud only exclusive!

"When I play, I work towards a shared atmosphere with the crowd, letting each track add another layer and draw us further into it. This mix captures the backbone of my sound: minimal and deep tech built on stripped-back drums, rolling basslines and steady, hypnotic grooves. Woven through it is the emotional pull of early-2000s trance and progressive house. The mix develops gradually, with one step leading naturally to the next. Tension and euphoria build throughout the journey without interrupting the flow. I wanted it to feel equally at home beneath an open festival sky and inside a dark warehouse club—enough light and lift for the open air, but enough pressure and grit for a room with no windows."
