Small Ceramic Plant pot Inspired by Irish wildlife and Landscape, Handmade and Illustrated with an illustration of a Hare hiding in heather-field.
Pots are hand-built from sturdy light beige stoneware clay with beautiful texture and black speckle. They are made out of a clay slab wrapped around the base, and there's a clay overlap left visible at the back of the pots.
They are decorated with images of forest animals , inspired by my walks in the forest and in the heather-fields in the hills surrounding Dublin. The decoration is painted on with soft coloured slip paints and left fully unglazed on the outside. The inside of the planter is glazed for water-tightness.
This range of planters is a limited edition, a short run of 20 planters made in each design and size
