Mawazo and Nafasi are both dedicated to the promotion of contemporary Swahili art forms and Get Real Training gives media production courses. This collaboration has been set up with the goal of giving the Tanzanian audience the opportunity to see high quality movies from all over the world. It is a bi-monthly event that starts with a mini viewing of upcoming Tanzanian talents, who have the opportu

nity to showcase their work upon invitation. The main movie is then screened followed by a discussion with the public on the movie and the art of movie making. We have screened films from Cuba, Liberia, Afghanistan, France, Brazil, Italy, USA, Senegal, Denmark, Sweden, Spain and South Africa and more.
