FESTIVAL SUMMARY:
Karibu Music Festival is an annual Three-days INTERNATIONAL music festival created by Karibu Cultural Promotions Organization (NGO) and Legendary Music Entertainment and Promotion Company Ltd. It will be held at Bagamoyo, on 500 acres grounds alongside the beach at the College of Arts and Culture (TASUBA). The main attraction of the festival is the mixture of Music, Dance and Cul

tural Exposure, where by different artistes from different parts of the world will be invited to share the stage with the local East African artistes. The festival goal is nurturing and promoting African music and culture to the world, as well as introducing other countries’ cultures to Africa, and building up friendship/interests/collaboration opportunities among all participants. The Festival will focus on different genre of music basing on its influence and popularity, from African Music to world music namely, Pop, Rock, Reggae, Hip hop, Jazz, Country, Electronic and other alternative music. The festival will also feature Musicians selling and showcasing their CDs (Albums), craftsmen and artisans selling unique products, cultural food and drink vendors, also a comedy tent, cinema tent, and a graffiti tent for more art adventures.

NAIRO NAIRO NAIRO WE ARE COMING As we heading toward the end of our Germany Tour Now - ABENEKO and THE POSITIVE MIND ready for Nairobi.

Abeneko & The Positive Mind are led by a Tanzanian contemporary live performer, singer, songwriter, guitarist and choreographer from Dares Salaam. Abeneko and The Positive Mind's music is a fusion of contemporary East African beats including singeli melodies, funk and Afro-fusion combined with traditional dance and rhythms.Their music aims to promote Tanzanian traditional and contemporary music, dance and culture. The band has performed at major festivals around East Africa including , and as well as tours in Germany, Denmark, Finland and USA.

They are well known for their energetic and wonderful live performance with storytelling, entertaining and strong messages that address different issues in society and culture.

Abeneko and The Positive Mind are doing Bongo Fusion Tour and they will be at the AF Nairobi 16 August, Geco Cafe 19 August, Cheche Live Sessions on the 20th of August.
