#冰島罌粟 Iceland Poppy

｜試著將風留下來

我始終覺得，風是一種很自由的存在
它沒有固定的方向、不受框架束縛
卻總能在經過的地方留下痕跡與氣息

創作也是如此

在發想這件作品時
我沒有刻意讓每片花瓣遵循相同的弧度
而是順著皮革本身的張力與手感
讓它們自由地舒展、生長、無拘無束

細長的花莖隨著風勢彎曲
花瓣雖然輕薄如紙
在承載著空氣重量的同時
也不願向環境低頭
自由地朝向自己選擇的方向而綻放
不追求整齊一致，卻因此顯得格外動人

這就是創作最迷人的樣子
無法預期的轉折與流動
往往會形成自己獨特的風格



I’ve always felt that wind is one of the freest forms of existence.

It has no fixed direction and refuses to be confined by boundaries,
yet wherever it passes, it leaves behind traces of its presence and a lingering sense of itself.

Creation feels much the same.

When developing this piece, I didn’t intentionally shape every petal to follow the same curve.
Instead, I worked with the natural tension and character of the leather,
allowing each one to unfold, grow, and move freely in its own way.

The slender stems bend gently with the wind,

and although the petals appear delicate, almost paper-thin,
while carrying the weight of the air around them,
they never seem willing to bow to their surroundings.

Instead, they bloom freely in the direction they choose for themselves.

They do not strive for perfect uniformity,
and it is precisely this individuality that makes them so captivating.

To me, this is the most beautiful part of creating.

The unexpected turns, the subtle movements, and the moments that cannot be planned
often become the very things that shape a distinctive voice and style of their own.

#山茶花

我一直覺得，山茶花有一種很安靜的溫柔
它不像玫瑰那樣張揚
卻總是在最冷的季節裡，安靜地盛開

於是我嘗試著用皮革，把那份溫柔留下來

一片一片描繪花瓣的弧度
讓指尖的溫度慢慢進入皮革纖維
反覆塑形、染色、堆疊光影
讓原本沉靜的材質，慢慢長出生命的呼吸

花蕊的部份，微微向內包覆的姿態
像是在保護什麼
也像是在安靜地等待被理解

它不是真正的花
卻承載了我對時間、手感與溫度的記憶

希望當有人看見它時
也能感受到那種
被溫柔對待過的痕跡



I have always felt that camellias carry a quiet kind of tenderness.
Unlike roses, they never seek attention,
yet they always bloom softly through the coldest season.

So I tried to preserve that gentleness in leather.

Petal by petal, I shaped each delicate curve,
allowing the warmth of my fingertips to slowly sink into the leather fibers.
Through repeated sculpting, dyeing, and layering of light and shadow,
the once quiet material gradually began to breathe with life.

The flower’s center folds slightly inward,
as if protecting something precious,
while quietly waiting to be understood.

It is not a real flower,
yet it carries my memories of time, touch, and warmth.

白斑龜背芋

這件作品其實在去年就完成
最近才想到還沒發文🙈

我試著讓時間停留在它尚未凋零之前
以手繪反覆堆疊植鞣皮革的纖維紋理
讓每一道白斑、每一道裂口
都保留植物在生長時的樣貌

那些看似奔放的斑駁
其實更像生命在環境中留下的抵抗痕跡
並以此比喻人生的不完美
即使知道對方的頑劣與威脅
但仍然保持自我，向陽而生

而木質底板則像土壤
承接著這片雖然不再生長
卻依然活著的綠意與生命



I tried to preserve this moment before the leaf began to fade.

Through repeated hand-painted layering of the vegetable-tanned leather’s fibrous textures,
every white variegation and every split is left intact,
retaining the form the plant once held as it grew.
