Republic of Comedy - Taiwan Standup (aka ROCTS) is a collective of funny people committed to performing quality English-language stand-up comedy in Taiwan. ROCTS is not an official entity or business; it does not make or seek profit, and is organized solely by its volunteer members. Our Mission/Manifesto:
We exist to provide opportunities (shows) for our members to perform high-quality stand-up co
medy as often as is practicable to:
1. Make as many people laugh and enjoy English-language stand-up comedy in Taiwan as possible;
2. Cultivate and grow the community of English-language stand-up comics in Taiwan; and
3. Improve the craft of our members through practice and performance to become better stand-up comics
Membership:
Republic of Comedy - Taiwan Standup is open to any and all who are serious about becoming stand-up comics, committed to becoming better stand-up comics and making as many people laugh as possible. Membership is free and participation is voluntary.
