Astonished art on the cover of latest issue IPAT Magazine.

Artist: Hans Bauer from Germany

Hans Bauer is regarded as one of the best porcelain artists in Europe, especially painting the portraits.

Esther Hwang of South Korea first met Hans Bauer in the spring of 2005. Looking at his paintings and teachings, it was like opening up a new world of porcelain painting. In 2007 and 2008, Hans Bauer toured various workshops in South Korea and held beneficial seminars. He is 83 years old and does not speak any English.

He lives in the countryside of Germany. Many people from Germany, Switzerland and Italy come to his house studio to learn from him.
