臺北捷運台北車站M7出口，臺灣，12/27，2025
2025年12月19日下午，臺北發生發生一起隨機攻擊事件，27歲嫌犯首先赴臺北捷運台北車站M7出口附近投擲煙霧彈，並持刀無差別攻擊民眾，隨後又至捷運中山站附近持續攻擊，最終闖進百貨公司墜樓，送醫不治，包含嫌犯在內造成4死11傷。
隨機攻擊事件發生當晚，嫌犯於台北車站周邊丟擲煙霧彈並攜帶多枚汽油彈製造混亂，隨後持刀攻擊多名路人。余家昶先生於台北車站近M7出口發現異狀後，上前試圖阻擋其行為，並破壞嫌犯攜帶的一箱汽油彈，阻止其進一步點燃。過程中，余家昶遭到攻擊，經送醫搶救後仍因傷勢過重不治。
事件發生將近一週，臺北捷運設置暫時性悼念牆供民眾悼念，在事件發生的牆面上，仍依稀可見煙霧彈爆炸後所造成黑色煙燻痕跡。

Taipei Metro Exit M7, Taipei Main Station, Taiwan – December 27, 2025
On the afternoon of December 19, 2025, a random attack occurred in Taipei. The 27-year-old suspect first went to the vicinity of Exit M7 at Taipei Main Station, where he detonated smoke bombs and began an indiscriminate knife attack on civilians. He then moved toward the Zhongshan Metro Station area to continue his assault. The suspect eventually entered a department store and jumped from the building; he later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The tragic event resulted in 4 deaths and 11 injuries, including the suspect himself.
On the night of the incident, the suspect threw smoke bombs and carried several Molotov cocktails around Taipei Main Station to create chaos before attacking multiple pedestrians with a knife. Mr. YU Chia-chang (余家昶), noticing the suspicious activity near Exit M7, stepped forward in an attempt to block the suspect. He successfully damaged a box of gasoline bombs, preventing the suspect from igniting them further. During the confrontation, Mr. Yu was attacked and rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment, but he unfortunately passed away due to the severity of his wounds.
Nearly a week after the incident, the Taipei Metro has established a temporary memorial wall for the public to pay their respects. On the wall where the attack took place, black scorch marks caused by the smoke bomb explosion are still faintly visible.
