1984年由現任團長「呂忠明」接掌以來，
堅守「推廣傳統地方戲曲」初衷.專注於傳統歷史戲碼的演出.持續精進劇藝、深耕文化。

從早期的野台演出.一步一腳印邁向大型舞台公演.展現出台灣戲曲藝術的生命力與厚度。
