• One count of Inciting a Child to Engage in Sexual Activity
• One count of Sexual Pe*******on of a Child
The accused appeared before the Chaguanas Master’s Court, where TT$750,000 bail was granted with strict conditions, including no contact with the child and mandatory reporting to the Chaguanas Police Station three times weekly.
The TTPS stated that the matter was thoroughly investigated by the Special Victims Department following the initial report, resulting in the arrest and subsequent charges.
This case has generated significant public attention and serves as a reminder of the importance of reporting suspected abuse. As this matter is now before the courts, the accused is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
