Conversations In Calypso with Michelle Henry

Visiting the Brooklyn Public Library and experiencing“Journey of a Soca King: The Exhibition” celebrating the journey of Machel Montano was nothing short of amazing.
Being both inspiring and emotional, we got an inside view on what takes place behind all the music and success. The sacrifice, family, discipline, resilience and an unwavering belief in our culture.

Lady, I truly admire your foresight and dedication, document and preserve this remarkable journey.

Continued blessings and love to Machel as this story really makes up a great part of our identity and cultural legacy.

I could only wish that all at home could experience it. ❣️🙏🏾
Our stories matter.
