Morning Trini Artist, hope all is well. This is my first piece for this year, my first time painting hummingbirds. My second time painting the hibiscus flower. I'm not as good at painting flowers so i don't do much of that. A piece I've put together ❤️

The Guianan Red Howler (Alouatta macconnelli) is the largest monkey native to Trinidad where it typically lives in family groups of 4 to 8 with very strong social bonds. They are an iconic part of our forests with their distinct call and shy demeanor. But sadly, their populations have been declining in T&T since at least the 20th century due to illegal hunting and collection for the pet trade.

The first thing I saw very early this morning was this beautiful smile...Just received a wonderful gift...a painting of his old home where you can see his dad and him in the gallery. This piece holds alot of memories. His dad made the instrument cuatro and hung them in his gallery...I guess that's part of why he's so musically inclined. Thank you for the commission. Happy birthday Joey🎂 🥳 🎉
