The whole world is a form for truth.
When someone does not feel grateful for that, the forms appear to be as he feels, they mirror his anger, his greed, his fear.

One night, a moth circled around a glowing candle.
Its friends warned, “Don’t go too close! You’ll burn!”
But the moth replied,

“I would rather burn in this flame
than live a thousand lifetimes in darkness.”

It flew into the light, gave itself up—and was gone.
Rumi said:

“This is how the lover is with the Beloved.
When true love appears, the self disappears.”
