Bir yere yerleşmek kolay da insanın kendine yerleşmesi biraz zaman alıyor sanırım.

Bu figür kimseyi beklemiyor, bir yere yetişmeye de çalışmıyor. Kendi kurduğu odanın içinde, sevdiği şeylerin arasında yalnızca duruyor. Belki biraz düşünüyor, belki de düşünmekten yorulmuş artık, bilmiyorum.

Ben aslında odaları değil, o odaların içinde yaşadığımız zihin hâllerini resmediyorum. İkamet de biraz bununla ilgili; bir evin içinde yaşamaktan çok, insanın kendi içinde kendine yer bulabilmesiyle. 🦭
Settling into a place is easy, but settling into yourself takes a little more time, I guess.

This figure isn’t waiting for anyone or trying to get anywhere. They’re simply sitting inside the room they created, surrounded by the things they love. Maybe they’re thinking, or maybe they’re just tired of thinking—I don’t know.

I’m not really painting rooms; I’m painting the states of mind we experience within them. And that’s what Dwelling is about: not simply living inside a house, but finding a place for yourself within yourself. 🦭

Bugün çok tatlı bir sulu boya workshop’u yaptık. 🎨

Biraz boyadık, biraz dağıttık, biraz sohbet ettik…
Kimse mükemmel bir şey çıkarmaya çalışmadı zaten, bence en güzeli de oydu.

Bazen sadece oturup bir şeyler üretmek, elini boyaya bulaştırmak ve birkaç saatliğine kafanı başka bir yere vermek gerçekten çok iyi geliyor.

Ben çok keyif aldım. 🐣🦭
Sonraki sulu boya etkinlikleri için takipte kalın, yine birlikte boyayalım.
Today we had such a lovely watercolor workshop. 🎨

We painted a little, made a little mess, talked a lot…
No one was trying to make something perfect, and I think that was the best part.

Sometimes just sitting down, making something, getting your hands into the paint, and letting your mind go somewhere else for a few hours feels really good.

I had so much fun. 🐣🦭
