What if your body could write stories before your mind even catches up?
This six-session workshop explores the Viewpoints technique and was developed for three different generations of the Tunisian National Theatre Acting School. It is is a dynamic performance technique that helps actors become fully present, physically expressive, and deeply connected to space, time, and ensemble. Rooted in movement and improvisation, it trains performers to respond instinctively and compose meaning through gesture, rhythm, and spatial relationships — making it a powerful tool for both creation and collaboration.

Marwa Manai is a tenured associate professor and an award-winning theatre-maker. After graduating from the Ecole Normale Supérieure with an extensive training in pedagogy as an associate professor of English literature (2011), she graduated from the Tunisian National Theatre Acting School (2014) and worked on world-touring productions as actress, co-writer and assistant director with Fadhel Jaibi and Raja Ben Ammar. She then obtained an MA in Theatre-making from the University of York in the UK as a Chevening scholar (2021). She has worked as stage director, playwright, and dramaturg on various productions including The Name of the Father (2019), On the Threshold (2020), Ancra-je (2022), and Untitled (2024) and In the Belly of the Whale (2025) in addition to participating in international programs such as Seminaire in Avignon, the European Theatre Academy, IETM Glabal Connectors Program and others. Her experience has crossed stages in Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, France, UK, Germany, Croatia, Hungary, Austria, Spain, among others, including performances, residencies and workshops.

هذا الورشة المتكونة من ست حصص تستكشف تقنية الـViewpoints
وقد طُوّرت عبر ثلاثة أجيال مختلفة من طلبة مدرسة الممثل بالمسرح الوطني التونسي.
إنها تقنية أداء ديناميكية تساعد الممثلين على أن يكونوا حاضرين بالكامل، معبّرين جسدياً، ومتّصلين بعمق بالفضاء، والزمن، والمجموعة.
منبثقة من الحركة والارتجال، تدرّب هذه التقنية المؤدين على الاستجابة الفطرية وتكوين المعنى من خلال الإيماءة، والإيقاع، والعلاقات المكانية — مما يجعلها أداة قوية للإبداع والعمل الجماعي.

مروى مناعي أستاذة مبرزة مرسمة بالتعليم العالي وصانعة مسرح حائزة على جوائز.
بعد تخرجها من مدرسة المعلمين العليا في إختصاص اللغة والأدب الإنجليزي (2011)، التحقت بمدرسة الممثل بالمسرح الوطني التونسي (2014) وشاركت في عروض عالمية كممثلة، وكاتبة مشاركة، ومساعدة مخرج مع فاضل الجعايبي ورجاء بن عمار.
حصلت لاحقاً على ماجستير في صناعة المسرح من جامعة يورك بالمملكة المتحدة بمنحة "تشيفنينغ" (2021).
اشتغلت كمخرجة مسرحية، وكاتبة، ودراماتورج على عدة عروض منها:
"اسم الأب" (2019)، "عبور" (2020)، "أنكراج" (2022)، "بلا عنوان" (2024) و "في بطن الحوت" (2025)، بالإضافة إلى مشاركتها في برامج دولية مثل: ندوة أفينيون، الأكاديمية الأوروبية للمسرح، برنامج IETM Global Connectors وغيرها. مرت تجربتها بمسارح عالمية بمصر لبنان المغرب ألمانيا فرنسا إنجلترا كرواتيا المجر النمسا إسبانيا وغيرها بين العروض، الاقامات الفنية والورشات.
