Oh man, the Morgan/Crusader Bible is full interesting medieval illustrations of scripture. Had to share this depiction of David cutting Saul's robe 1 Samuel 24:4-5 😆 https://www.themorgan.org/collection/crusader-bible/65

Way up in the mountains of Georgia near the little town of Helen, you can find the “Eagle Owl Castle” known as Uhuburg, a huge hand-built castle sitting high above the Blue Ridge foothills. Construction began in 2008, and what was first expected to be a two-year project ended up taking about 14 years. The castle has 12 towers, three gatehouses, a Great Hall, hidden-feeling passageways, two levels of walls you can walk, and an eight-story lookout tower with wide mountain views. You can explore the grounds on a day visit, join a guided tour, see the large collection of murals, or stay overnight in one of the castle chambers. The gardens are just as unusual, with tropical plants, fruit trees, flowers, a Zen garden, and a bog garden filled with pitcher plants, sundews, and Venus flytraps. Special events also include things like swordsmanship weekends. Uhuburg sits on about 45 wooded mountain acres, and its name comes from German: “Uhu” means eagle owl and “Burg” means castle. It’s one of the most unexpected places you’ll find in North Georgia.
