Sharing Inspiration with the Youth of Chiang Rai! ✨

On August 28, 2025, the Phu Lae International Animation Festival had the wonderful opportunity to hold a special activity with the art club students at Thoeng Wittayakom School in Chiang Rai.

The festival screened the Top 5 animations to inspire the students, and our Festival Director, Rutt Jumpamule, gave a lecture on "Design Thinking for Better Performance," a crucial concept that can be applied to both creative work and personal development.

The Phu Lae International Animation Festival would like to extend our sincere thanks to Ajarn Kabin and Thoeng Wittayakom School for their warm welcome and for giving us the opportunity to ignite creative sparks in the next generation of local youth.

วันที่ 28 สิงหาคม 2568 ที่ผ่านมา เทศกาลแอนิเมชั่นนานาชาติภูแลได้มีโอกาสไปสร้างสรรค์กิจกรรมพิเศษกับนักเรียนชมรมศิลปะของ โรงเรียนเทิงวิทยาคม จังหวัดเชียงราย

เทศกาลฯ ได้มีการฉายแอนิเมชั่นยอดเยี่ยม Top 5 ของเทศกาล เพื่อเป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้กับน้องๆ และ คุณรัฐ จำปามูล Festival Director ของเรา ได้บรรยายให้ความรู้ในหัวข้อ "Design Thinking for Better Performance" ซึ่งเป็นแนวคิดสำคัญที่สามารถนำไปปรับใช้ได้ทั้งในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานและการพัฒนาตัวเอง

The Story Behind Our Festival's Most Impressive Prize: The Chiang Rai Experience ✨

At the Phu Lae International Animation Festival, we believe the greatest prize is not money 💰 but an experience that creates endless inspiration. That's why we awarded our winning artists a 3-day, 2-night cultural trip to Chiang Rai. ✈️

Beyond our goal of showcasing Chiang Rai as The City of Art to the world, we also aim to be a "small cog" in the local economy. We want to draw visitors, both domestic and international, to experience our city, explore its beauty, and contribute to its economic value through our soft power initiative.

We took our international creators on a journey to discover the heart and soul of the city through three distinct themes 👇:

Day 1: Philosophy in Art & Lanna Culture 🧘‍♂️

🏛️King Mengrai the Great Monument: Learning about the city's historical foundations.
🎨Baan Dam Museum: Experiencing philosophy and belief through powerful art.
✨Mae Fah Luang Art & Culture Park: Immersing in the beauty of Lanna art.
👑Oub Kham Museum: Admiring the glorious heritage of an ancient kingdom.

Day 2: The Art of Buddhism: A Journey of Faith 🙏

🏯Wat Phra Kaew: Finding serenity in a spiritual heritage site.
🩵Wat Rong Suea Ten: Marveling at modern, vibrant Buddhist art.
✨Wat Huay Pla Kang: Witnessing awe-inspiring architectural grandeur.
🤍Wat Rong Khun (The White Temple): Being inspired by a world-famous masterpiece of Buddhist art.

Day 3: Chiang Rai, A City of Aesthetics 🌿

🍃Choui Fong Tea Plantation: Experiencing the tranquility of nature and local life.
🖼️Chiang Rai Contemporary Art Museum (CCAM): Concluding the trip with inspiration from contemporary art.

เทศกาลแอนิเมชั่นนานาชาติภูแลเชื่อว่ารางวัลที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดไม่ใช่ตัวเงิน 💰 แต่คือ "ประสบการณ์" ที่จะสร้างแรงบันดาลใจได้อย่างไม่สิ้นสุด นั่นคือเหตุผลที่เรามอบรางวัลให้กับศิลปินผู้ชนะด้วยการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวเชิงศิลปะและวัฒนธรรมในจังหวัดเชียงรายเป็นเวลา 3 วัน 2 คืน ✈️

At the Phulae International Animation Festival 2025 Awards Ceremony on Saturday, August 2, 2025, we were honored to host a special activity with Mr. Okan Yucel, a representative from the German animation Little Fan and the winner of Phulae 2025. He led a workshop on folding origami blue paper birds, the main character from the film.

The activity was a great success and received significant interest from attendees, both children and adults.

Thank you, Little Fan !!!!!

ในงานพิธีประกาศผลและมอบรางวัลของเทศกาลแอนิเมชั่นานาชาติภูแล 2025 เมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 2 สิงหาคม 2568 นั้น เราได้มีกิจกรรมพิเศษจากคุณ Okan Yucel ตัวแทนจากแอนิเมชั่น Little Fan จากประเทศเยอรมัน ผู้ได้รางวัลชนะเลิศของเรา เป็น workshop การพับนกกระดาษสีฟ้า ซึ่งเป็นตัวละครหลักในเรื่อง
