The Timor-Leste Thailand Friendship Circle is an all-volunteer group begun in Bangkok in 2013. We aim to do this by inviting Timorese to Thailand for cooperative workshops with local artists, public performances, and other activities to raise awareness of Timorese arts in Thailand. Likewise, we plan to send artists and musicians from Thailand to Timor-Leste to build technical skills and general aw
areness of Thai art and culture in Southeast Asia’s newest country. By working together through the arts and music, we hope to also contribute towards youth development in both countries; in Timor-Leste, where the national education curriculum in arts and music is still being developed, and Thailand, which can also benefit from wider cultural stimuli.

Timor Leste Thailand Friendship Circle TTFC is currently a small-but-growing group of Bangkok-based volunteers. We are looking for help to organize events and build people-to-people links between Thailand and Timor-Leste - and you don’t have to be an artist or musician to join!
