🎶 MEET OUR SOLOIST — EMMANUEL CEYSSON 🎶
Principal Harp, Los Angeles Philharmonic

We are delighted to welcome internationally acclaimed French harpist Emmanuel Ceysson to the stage with the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra.

Renowned for his exceptional musicianship, technical brilliance and expressive artistry, Ceysson is Principal Harp of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. A graduate of the Paris Conservatoire, he has been awarded top prizes at some of the world’s most prestigious international harp competitions, including the Gold Medal at the USA International Harp Competition, First Prize at the Young Concert Artists Auditions, and First Prize at the ARD International Music Competition in Munich.

Ceysson’s distinguished orchestral career has taken him from the Opéra National de Paris and the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra to the Los Angeles Philharmonic. As a soloist and recitalist, he has performed at leading venues around the world, including Carnegie Zankel Hall, Wigmore Hall, Salle Gaveau, Wiener Konzerthaus and Hyogo Concert Hall, and has appeared with renowned orchestras across Europe, Asia and North America.

The program will open with Siam Soundscapes by Thai composer and National Artist Narongrit Dhamabutra, followed by Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Op. 18, featuring renowned Russian pianist Dmitry Masleev as soloist. The concert will conclude with Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No.8 in G major, Op.88.

Behind the Scenes with the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra

The final preparations are underway as the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (RBSO) gets ready for the New York City Opera, marking the opening of the Bangkok’s 28th International Festival of Dance & Music at the Thailand Cultural Center.

From rehearsals to the final moments before the curtain rises, here’s a little glimpse behind the scenes as our musicians prepare to bring an unforgettable evening of music and performance to the stage.

หลังจากการเรียนมาสเตอร์คลาสอย่างเข้มข้นตลอด 7 วัน กับ ฟาบิโอ อาร์มิลิอาโต (Fabio Armiliato) นักร้องโอเปร่าเสียงเทเนอร์ชื่อดังจากประเทศอิตาลี โครงการ Belcanto International 2026 ขอเชิญทุกท่านร่วมชมคอนเสิร์ตรอบสุดท้าย ซึ่งเป็นบทสรุปของการเรียนรู้และการพัฒนาศักยภาพของนักร้องโอเปร่ารุ่นใหม่ ที่ได้พัฒนาทักษะด้านการขับร้องอย่างรอบด้าน ทั้งเทคนิคการร้อง การถ่ายทอดอารมณ์และความหมายของบทเพลง การตีความบทประพันธ์ รวมถึงการออกเสียงและการใช้ภาษาอิตาลีสำหรับการขับร้องโอเปร่า

After seven days of intensive masterclasses with renowned Italian tenor Fabio Armiliato, Belcanto International 2026 comes to a close with a special Final Concert.

The masterclass gives young male tenors the opportunity to develop their vocal technique, musical expression, and understanding of the Italian style and pronunciation essential to opera.

A Special Honour at the Anime Concert ✨

The Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra was deeply honoured to welcome Khunying Dhipavadee, Vice Chairman of the RBSO, to our Anime Concert. Her presence made this special evening even more meaningful for our musicians, artists, and audience.

At the conclusion of the concert, Khunying Dhipavadee had the honour of presenting flowers to our featured artists and conductor, celebrating the wonderful performances that brought beloved anime music to life on stage. 💐🎶

🎶✨ Two Unforgettable Evenings of Anime Music! ✨🎬

The Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for our Anime Concert on 20–21 August 2026 at the Thailand Cultural Centre.

Under the baton of Conductor Vanich Potavanich, the RBSO brought the magic of Japan’s most beloved anime worlds to life through an exciting programme featuring music from Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, Castle in the Sky, Naruto, One Piece, Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer, Pokémon, Detective Conan, Your Lie in April, Evangelion, Your Name, and Medalist. 🎼✨

Adding to the excitement were our wonderful vocalists, Songsynth Sirikhunaratsmi (Guy) and Alisara Arial, whose performances brought even greater energy and emotion to these much-loved soundtracks. 🎤🌸

Our sincere appreciation goes to all the musicians, artists, production teams and, most importantly, our wonderful audiences for making both evenings so special. Your enthusiasm and support made this celebration of anime, music and imagination truly unforgettable. ❤️

🎶 An Evening to Remember: A Tribute to The Royal Legacy 👑

The Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for A Tribute to The Royal Legacy, presented in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

Led by conductor Vanich Potavanich, the RBSO shared a memorable evening of music and dance, featuring the City Ballet in a splendid performance of Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet Suite. Their artistry and expressive interpretation brought this timeless story beautifully to life, creating a truly memorable evening for all. 🎼🩰✨
