คนธรรมดาอาจคิดแบบธรรมดา แต่กวีเขาเป็นคนซาบซึ้งลึกซึ้ง เช่น ดอกมังคุดบาน กวีก็สนใจแล้วว่ามันมีกลิ่นหอมอย่างไร มันจะออกเป็นมังคุดอย่างไร แต่คนทั่วไปมองแต่ว่าจะสุกเมื่อไรจะได้งับ กวีจะคิดถึงความลี้ลับของจักรวาล เจตนาของโลกที่มีต่อสภาวะธรรมชาติแวดล้อมมนุษย์ มาคิดถึงตัวมนุษย์เองว่ามันคืออะไร
