OPERA SINGIN MASTERCLASS 2026 in Bangkok
Following the success of last year's Masterclass with world acclaimed tenor Fabio Armiliato, The Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra with The Istituto Italiano di Cultura Bangkok and Belcanto Academy Bangkok are organizing singing Masterclasses in 2026.

• 13 - 20 September 2026 Masterclass 1 - Tenor Fabio Armiliato (teacher) only for male voices participants.
• 9 - 15 November 2026 Masterclass 2 - Soprano Barbara Floridia (teacher) only for female voices participants.
Everyday from 14,00 - 18,00 with final Concert.

8 students for each Masterclass.
Students fee 30,000 THB
Scholarships will be granted by specific cases which are by a specialized committee chaired by the instructor in special cases. The request of a scholarship must be specified in the application.

APPLICATION:
• Two videos, or more of the applicant singing different arias or songs (Italian repertoire)
• CV complete with picture
• No age restriction

• Barbara Frittoli Masterclass :October 15 - 2026

Bel canto International 2025 Masterclass: Final Concert Celebration of Italian Opera in Bangkok

Following nine days of intensive training with the world famous tenor Fabio Armiliato, assisted by Chiara Giudice as pianist, the seven young singers participants to the Masterclass performed in the final concert “ Belcanto International ‘.

The singers put their newly honed techniques to the test, performing alongside Maestro Armiliato in front of full audience members. The concert offered a chance to experience the richness of the Italian opera tradition in Thailand and successfully launched a few promising new young Thai opera singers.

The final concert, held on Sunday, October 19th, at the 140th Wireless Building, was a resounding success. It brought the timeless beauty of Italian opera to Bangkok, celebrating the universal language of music and the enduring legacy of Belcanto.

This event underscores Italy's commitment to strengthening cultural ties with Thailand and promoting dialogue, understanding, and artistic excellence in Southeast Asia.
