🏳️🌈 “สิ่งที่เราควรเป็น สิ่งที่เราควรทำ บทบาทและความคาดหวังทางเพศที่กดทับเรา แล้วใครกันที่วางกรอบเหล่านี้ไว้ให้เรา?” 🔎
👓 Sexpectation: เรากำลังอยู่ในเลนส์ของใครรึเปล่านะ? คือนิทรรศการที่ชวนสำรวจเรื่องราวของ “เพศ” และ “บทบาททางเพศ” ผ่านเลนส์ของประวัติศาสตร์ สังคม และผู้คนในแต่ละยุคสมัย
ชวนมองย้อนกลับไปยังค่านิยม ความเชื่อ และกรอบความคิดที่เคยกำหนดว่าใครควรเป็นอะไร ควรแสดงออกอย่างไร หรือแม้แต่ควรถูกมองแบบไหน
เพราะหลายครั้ง มนุษย์ถูกลดทอนความเป็นตัวเองให้เหลือเพียงคำว่า “เพศ” 👥
❗️ด้วยคำถามที่ว่า“เรากำลังอยู่ในเลนส์แว่นตาของใครหรือเปล่า?”
Sexpectation จะพาทุกคนสวมแว่นตา แล้วเข้าไปสำรวจโลกผ่านเลนส์ที่แตกต่าง เลนส์ที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไปตามกาลเวลา บริบทสังคม และมุมมองของผู้คน
และบางทีเมื่อมองผ่านเลนส์ใหม่ เราอาจเริ่มตั้งคำถามกับเลนส์ที่ใช้อยู่ในปัจจุบัน รวมถึงความเป็นไปได้ของเลนส์ในอนาคต
มาร่วมเป็นส่วนหนี่งในการถ่ายทอดราวเรื่องผ่านเลนส์กับเรา

👓 Sexpectation: Are we in someone’s lens?
An art exhibition that invites you to explore stories of gender and gender roles through the lenses of history, society and people of each era.
To take a step back and look into the values, beliefs and social norms that shape who we are expected to be, how we are expected to express ourselves, and even how we are expected to be seen.
Because too often, people are reduced to nothing more than their gender. 👥
❗️ With one question: “Are we looking through someone else’s lens?”
Sexpectation invites you to put on a pair of glasses and explore the world through different lenses, lenses that change through time, social contexts, and the perspectives of those around us.
And perhaps, when we look through a new lens, we may begin to question the one we use today, and imagine the possibilities of the lenses we might see in the future.
