INCARNATION 🤡
From a still image to a living character.
Transforming a simple idea into a real presence ,disturbing, fascinating, and impossible to forget.
Behind the clown in The Invitation: A Bloody Valentine, there was more than makeup or costume.
There was construction, research, and deep immersion. Every look, every silence, every smile had to tell a story. It was never about simply playing a clown, but about embodying a soul , the silent master of this ceremony of revenge.
As the stage director, my role was to bring that vision to life: to create a character capable of unsettling, captivating, and carrying the full dramatic tension of the film.
The clown was not there to entertain.
He was there to observe, manipulate, and announce chaos.
Here is a look behind the scenes, into the creative process where imagination becomes flesh, and where a character finally comes alive.
INCARNATION.
