ITC PROGRAMME FESTIVAL TRADERS NOMINATED FOR MADE IN ESWATINI CONSUMER CHOICE AWARDS

From training and mentorship to showcasing their businesses at MTN Bushfire and Standard Bank Luju Festival, the ITC Livestock Value Chain Programme has supported eight local SMEs in strengthening their businesses, gaining market exposure and connecting with new audiences.

MTN Bushfire Attends Soundscapes of India 🇮🇳

In an inspiring expression of our commitment to arts mobility, cultural exchange and celebrating diversity, our Co-Founding Director, Jiggs Thorne, honoured an invitation to this year’s Soundscapes of India in Mumbai.

Here’s a look at some of the artist showcases that sparked incredible dialogue around facilitating musical and cultural collaborations between India and Indian diasporic communities across the African sub-region.

A big congratulations to the Soundscapes of India Director Kaushik Dutta and team for staging this meaningful networking and exchange platform, and a great opportunity for international delegates to engage with India’s vibrant music community.

EU Bushfire Schools Festival 2026 | 15th Edition | Theme: Arts in Action: Future in the Making

For 15 editions, the EU Bushfire Schools Festival has served as a launchpad for Eswatini’s young creatives, creating a space where self-expression turns into real possibility.

Under this year’s theme, Arts in Action: Future in the Making, over 600 learners and young artists from across the country came together to explore how the arts can actively shape their futures. Inclusion was front and centre with the participation of differently-abled students, reinforcing that art belongs to everyone.

The festival showcased the many ways creativity can come to life, from professional dance audience engagement with Toothless the Dancer and singing sessions with Ace Julz, to drumming with Klitgrass Drumming and Cirk’s circus performances on the lawn. Across the festival, learners experienced the arts through movement, music, performance and play.

When a young participant asked if art could truly be a career, the response echoed throughout the day: “Your creativity is your superpower.” The future needs artists, but it also needs critical thinkers, problem solvers and innovators.

Since 2010, the festival has been a beacon for youth empowerment and skills development. Fifteen editions on, the takeaway remains clear: the future is not something we wait for. It is something we create.

From quiet conversations between neighbours parked side by side to spontaneous adventures just steps from your door, every corner of the Camper Car Zone held a story, and every day brought something worth remembering. More memories from the 19th edition campsites are still to come.

From the vibrant wonders of the African Circus in the Kidszone to every corner of our family-friendly grounds, you lit it up with love, laughter and legacy. By sharing these unforgettable moments, you helped bring the spirit of the to life as a true meeting point of generations, creativity, connection and community.

A vibrant celebration of creativity, culture and collective expression unfolded at the Bushfire Unity Parade 🌈🔥

Rooted in this year’s theme, The Juncture of Hum, the parade brought together festivalgoers in a colourful display of rhythm, movement, costume and connection. From bold self-expression to shared moments of joy, the procession embodied the spirit of a community where diversity is celebrated, and every voice adds to the collective hum.

Thank you to all the Fire Starters who stepped into the parade and helped create a living reflection of inclusion, unity and the power of creative expression.
