โ€ผ๏ธSHOCKED: Abii Payam Dispute Claim Life of a Young Mourner From Twic East, Pawuoi Payam Ajak Juach Kuany.

The Convoy of mourners who paid their last respects to Sultan Manyok Deng faced an ambush at Pariak by the Abii youths in which young mourner Ajak Juach Kuany Atem Aruei lost his life. Half of the mourners' convoy arrived safely, but the other half walked into the ambush. Security forces reacted quickly and apprehended the culprits (Abii youths).

We express our heartfelt condolences and our prayers for the recovery of the injured ones, and we request that the community remain prayerful for the safety of those who are still travelling to Juba.

At this point, we do not know the reasons behind the attack, and we urge everyone to ensure peace prevails between Twic and Bor counties in Jonglei State.

The leadership of TEYA-Juba 2025โ€“2027 under Comrade William Deng Jr. Kuir Bul is pleased to share this good news with the sons and daughters of Twic East.

The TEYA leadership has donated a new Toyota Land Cruiser 79 Series pickup (open/single cab) to support the youth and communities of Twic East County, particularly in facilitating movement to the ongoing resettlement areas.

This donation comes in response to a request from the Twic East county youth to TEYA Juba to help ease transportation and movement during the resettlement process. Resettlement has been one of the core commitments of the current TEYA leadership and the leadership remains fully committed to supporting our communities as they move from flood-affected areas to safer and dry places.

As resettlement continues to take shape, with communities already moving to new dry areas, TEYA remains committed to standing with our people and supporting their needs.

Since taking office, the TEYA Juba 2025โ€“2027 leadership has continued to deliver essential services to Twic East County through its Emergency Response Committee (ERC). The leadership is determined to continue implementing its manifesto and turning its commitments into practical actions before the end of its mandate.

๐‰๐”๐๐€, ๐€๐”๐†๐”๐’๐“ ๐Ÿ•, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” โ€“ His Excellency, President Salva Kiir Mayardit on Friday chaired the Council of Ministers' Regular Meeting No. 12/2026, during which Cabinet approved the Transitional Constitution of the Republic of South Sudan (Amendment No. 13) Bill, 2026, a landmark legal reform designed to facilitate the conduct of the December 2026 general elections.

The Council also confirmed and adopted the resolutions of its Regular Meeting No. 11/2026, held on July 24, 2026, before considering a number of ministerial memoranda.

Presenting the first memorandum, the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Dr. Wek Mamer Kuol sought Cabinet approval of the proposed constitutional amendment bill following the invocation of Article 8.4 of the Revitalized Agreement, which provides for legislative action to facilitate the electoral process. Cabinet said the approval removes a major legal hurdle and establishes the constitutional basis for holding the country's scheduled elections.

Angola has officially inaugurated a modern referral hospital named after Tanzania's founding father, Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere, in recognition of his immense contributions to Africa's liberation struggles.The President Julius Nyerere General Burn Hospital was unveiled in Luanda on August 1, 2026, by Angolan President Joรฃo Lourenรงo and Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan.

Facility Specialisation: The hospital functions as a state-of-the-art national reference unit primarily specialising in high-complexity burn treatments and complex wound care.Capacity: It features 252 inpatient beds, including 66 dedicated critical care beds for intensive care units (ICU) serving adults, children, and newborns.

Investment: The project represents a $150 million to $155 million investment aimed at boosting healthcare self-reliance within the continent.

Location: The medical complex is situated within the Kilamba housing complex in Luanda, Angola.Core Services: Beyond burn care, it provides plastic, reconstructive, and regenerative surgery, advanced diagnostic tools, and comprehensive rehabilitation services.
