KONO DISTRICT EXCELLENCE AWARDS ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAMS

RELEASE ITS 64 KDEA2021 OFFICIAL AWARD CATEGORIES

The Kono District Excellence Awards and recognition programs celebrate the people and Institutions who are making our district a better place to live. The KDEA programs will acknowledge outstanding achievements in , , , , and , , the and many other fields.

Therefore, for the excellence service to humanity, we've established to shine out in our mission statement to create the awareness of extraordinary humanitarian endeavours across the Kono District and the country as a whole in 64 solid competitive categories and celebrating or in this year's event on the 18th December 2021. The nomination process largely depends on the committee and others to provide a strong pool of nominee(s) for each of the awards.

Nominations for the KDEA Achievement and Recognition Awards Event are due on the 20th September, 2021 and ends on the 5th October, 2021.

If they're to introduce new category(ies) of Awards for KDEA2021, what should it/they be and why❓❓

The Kono District Excellence Awards and recognition programs aims to promote quality crafts that uphold rigorous standards of excellence in Education, Health Care, Business, Science and Medicine, Community Service, the Arts and many other fields.

Therefore, in this year's recognition programs, we have 45 Solid Categories of which some are subject to change or modification. That notwithstanding, due to the many popular demands to add more, we're seeking the views of the general public to recommend or suggest the categories to be incorporated.

Kono District Excellence Awards Arts and Entertainment Programs has released its annual calendar of events for the 3rd Edition of the Kono Achievement Awards.

This calendar of events contains detailed timeline of activities and processes leading to this year’s Awards ceremony, scheduled for December 18th, 2021, at the prestigious Diamond Lodge Hotel.

*GRATITUDE IS A MUST:*

I just wanted to take a moment and say "thank you" to everyone for all of the birthday wishes. It means a lot to me that you all took time from your busy lives to wish me a happy birthday. I feel very blessed to have each and everyone of you as my friends. Yes, another long year and another number added to my age, but it is still great to hear from all of you out there. I hope you're all doing well. I'll get in touch with each and everyone soon.

Thank you to my parents, brothers and sisters, my pals, thank you so much to all my classmates, team mates of Arsenal fan club, colleagues and team mates at POE INT, Members of SIKOEA, Members of Bethany Baptist Church, and the entire KDEA team that wished me a happy birthday. Special thanks to all my friends who are currently globetrotting who still made the effort. Love you all. And again, we're celebrating another phenomenal woman, a warrior and a freedom fighter, a respecter of our African tradition, Mrs. Sia Evelyn Nyandemo.

Mama, today is your natal day, and as one of your numerous sons, I have always wanted to be around in celebration of this great day in your life. I've learned to be me whenever you're around and there are so many amazing moment we have had together.

You're a friend, mentor, advisor, intercessor and a mother not only to me but to everyone young person who may have come in touch with a beautiful soul like you.

Let's celebrate Dr. Fuambai Sia Ahmadu🎁🎉🎊

She is the CEO of Sia Inc, a reputable company based in Maryland, USA. Sia Inc was a major sponsor of the second KDEA2019 awards ceremony in Kono.

Dr. Fuambai is a phenomenal woman who believes in girls and youths empowerment and community development through positive and innovative ideas. At the KDEA2019, she was nominated for the category "Distinguished Leadership Award of the Year Female Diaspora." But she kindly asked to withdraw her name on the list because she was already a proud recepient in this category KDEA2018, also to avoid conflict of interest because of her company Sia Inc was a key sponsor of the event.

Dr. Fuambai is a driving force, I learnt a lot from her passion. She is respectful and attentive when discussing with her, she's always ready to be a part of something great.

Today is not a normal day for us in Kono and the Black American community because we're celebrating a great woman, a beautiful black African Kono woman and a born leader. Today is a special day for one of us, for a brother, father and personally he's a mentor to me.

This is a man I'm grateful to know, a man who is a dream builder and a team player. A man who gave his time to build me to what I am and what I'm heading for. We started a dream together and during the odd hours (late midnight)I usually engaged him on the phone together with Mucky Dada, Mr Saa Mondeh and the Nyandemos', to know what to do and how to move on with a passion inside of me, it's KDEA...
