SOME YOUTHS FROM GBENSE CHIEFDOM ATTACK KONO DISTRICT YOUTHS CENTRE AND OFFICE:

Reports emerging today indicate that some youths from Gbense Chiefdom allegedly attacked the Kono District Youths Centre and office in Kono District.

The incident has raised serious concerns among community stakeholders, as the Youths Centre is expected to serve as a space for dialogue, youth empowerment, peacebuilding, and the coordination of youth-related activities across the district.

Such acts of violence are unacceptable and risk undermining the peace, unity, and development efforts of Kono District. Youths are encouraged to channel their grievances through dialogue and the appropriate authorities rather than resorting to confrontation or destruction of public facilities.

We call on the relevant authorities, community leaders, and youth stakeholders to urgently investigate the incident, establish the facts, and take appropriate measures to prevent any further escalation.

Kono needs peace, unity, and responsible youth leadership, not violence.

APC KONO DISTRICT SECRETARY MOMOH TAMBA WUSA AKA BISHOP ATTENDS FUNERAL SERVICE OF LATE MAMA HANNAH FINDA BANGAO.

The APC District Secretary, Kono District, attended the funeral service of the late Mama Hannah Finda Bangao, beloved mother of Tamba Bangao, popularly known as Mr. One.

His presence demonstrated solidarity, respect, and compassion for the bereaved family during this difficult moment. May the soul of Mama Hannah Finda Bangao rest in perfect peace, and may God grant the family strength and comfort.
