Kenema Story!

On Friday, 6th February 2026, at around 1:30 PM, a fire outbreak destroyed approximately five shops and one house at Kaisamba Terrace in Kenema, Eastern Sierra Leone. The incident occurred while some shop owners had gone for Juma prayers.

The National Fire Force in Kenema responded promptly and made efforts to contain the blaze. However, their vehicle ran out of water, forcing them to leave the scene to refill the tank before continuing operations.

Meanwhile, the Sierra Leone Police, Kenema Division, are on the ground managing the crowd and ensuring public safety.
