💭 One of the greatest blessings when you live overseas is having a reliable and trustworthy person back home who can help manage your investments and dreams.
Many Sierra Leoneans in the diaspora work day and night, sacrificing comfort, family time, and peace of mind to build something meaningful back home. Some dream of starting farms, businesses, schools, or building houses for their families.
Sadly, many of these dreams have been destroyed—not because of a lack of money, but because of betrayal.
People they trusted the most ended up lying, stealing, mismanaging funds, or neglecting projects. Years of hard work and sacrifice abroad have been wasted because of dishonesty.
This is why many people in the diaspora prefer to keep their money in foreign banks instead of investing back home.
Trust is priceless.
If we truly want development in Sierra Leone, we must learn to be honest, accountable, and faithful with the opportunities and responsibilities given to us.
A trustworthy person can help build a nation. A dishonest one can destroy generations of dreams.
