I create visual artifacts of transformation.
For years, I thought I was making abstract art.
Only recently did I realize that what I have actually been documenting is change.
This project began during a period of profound transformation in my own life—navigating solo motherhood in emigration, rebuilding my sense of belonging, and learning to trust uncertainty.
At first, circles appeared intuitively.
Over time, they revealed themselves as symbols of cycles, transitions, endings, beginnings, and expansion.
Today, the project consists of twenty works and continues to grow.
The process itself has become as important as the final pieces.
I work with ink, water, snow, flowers, natural elements, movement, and chance.
Each material reflects a cycle of its own.
Each work carries a story, a question, or a realization that emerged while creating it.
What began as a visual exploration has gradually become a way of understanding life itself.
A circle can be a season.
A memory.
A return.
A transformation.
A life.
Perhaps this is why people often find their own stories inside these works.
Because they were never only about me.
They are about the cycles we all move through.
What cycle are you living through right now?
