MÄKKE MESTO – PRIESTOR..
Výskumný projekt Mäkké mesto sa zameriava na potenciál bioplastových štruktúr ako mäkkých, adaptabilných prvkov vo verejnom priestore. Ide o hybridné objekty, ktoré stierajú hranice medzi prírodným a umelým, pričom aktívne reagujú na mikroklimatické podmienky prostredia.
V prvej fáze výskumu sme do prostredia historického centra mesta Trenčín umiestnenili bioplastovo-drevený objekt. Na jeho realizácií spolupracovala autorka Soňa Polčová s Dielňou HAUS. V rámci tejto fázy projektu testujeme rôzne formy, hustoty a zloženie materiálu na báze ryžového papiera. Skúmame správanie bioplastu v rôznych prostrediach mesta, jeho reakciu na slnečné žiarenie, tieň, teplotu, vlhkosť či znečistenie ovzdušia a sledujeme jeho transformáciu v čase...
The research project Soft City focuses on the potential of bioplastic structures as soft, adaptable elements in public space. These hybrid objects blur the boundaries between the natural and the artificial, while actively responding to the microclimatic conditions of their surroundings.
In the first phase of the research, one Object was placed in the environment of the historic city center of Trenčín. Author Soňa Polčová collaborated on realization of the object with Dielňa HAUS studio. In this phase, we are testing various forms, densities, and compositions of rice-paper–based material. We examine how bioplastics behave in different urban environments—its response to sunlight, shade, temperature, humidity, and air pollution—and observe its transformation over time...
