🖼️ At the request of Emperor Rudolf II, Saint Lawrence of Brindisi helped raise an army to fight against the islamic invasion threatening to conquer Europe. Serving as chaplain and spiritual leader, he stood among the leaders at the Battle of Székesfehérvár in 1601, where he raised the Cross before the Christian forces, guiding them toward victory against overwhelming odds.

This artwork reflects the triumph of Christ, light over darkness, Truth over pagans, and the enduring strength of God.

Twenty years ago, this was where the black-and-white photographs of Kogule were made. 📷⚫⚪

So much has changed since then. The village is almost unrecognizable, shaped by new buildings, apartments, and hotels. Finding an authentic corner that still carries the quiet spirit of the old place has become a real challenge.

Yet, as always, the show must go on. 🎞️
