💧 Understanding water begins with understanding its character.

During this year’s Bled Water Forum, certified water sommeliers from the European Water Sommelier Association evaluated waters from around the world using a new water transcription methodology-an innovative approach that translates complex sensory characteristics into language everyone can understand.

In collaboration with the Bled Culture Institute, we also hosted the first public Water & Tea Tasting at Bled Castle. The experience demonstrated a fascinating fact: the same tea brewed with three different waters creates three distinctly different flavour profiles.

Water is not just an ingredient-it is a defining element of quality and taste.

💧 Od teorije k praksi.

Bled Water Forum je odprl globalno razpravo o pomenu kakovostne pitne vode v turizmu, gastronomiji in hotelirstvu. Danes ta pobuda dobiva svojo praktično izvedbo.

Kot izpostavlja časnik Dnevnik, se vizija, predstavljena na Bled Water Forumu, uresničuje skozi prvi certifikat kakovosti pitne vode, ki ga razvija in podeljuje Aquinity8.

Prvi prejemnik certifikata je restavracija Al Fresco z Bleda, ki s tem postavlja nov standard kakovosti in skrbi za goste.

Ne gre le za certifikat, temveč za začetek oblikovanja novih globalnih standardov, kjer kakovost pitne vode postaja pomemben del celotne izkušnje gosta.

To je šele začetek.

The end of clean water? Yes but not for BWF💦⚡️

When we turn on the tap, we often assume our drinking water is completely clean. Unfortunately, that’s not always the case.

The fact that water is supplied as drinking water does not necessarily mean it is free from all contaminants. Many emerging pollutants are still not included in current drinking water regulations, even though they may be present in water sources.

In this presentation, Helmut Burtscher-Schaden, Environmental Chemist at GLOBAL 2000 (Vienna), explains the growing challenge of contaminants in drinking water and why this topic deserves much more attention.
