The Serendipitous Week of Flutterbys pt.3: Diana’s Death, Beauty and Metamorphosis - a gothic take on the wearer’s idea of transcending one’s innate fear of Death into appreciation of Beauty. The graceful silhouette of a swallowtail butterfly revealing a skull within its perimeters.
Poetically beautiful be the sentiments! Plus there’s NOTHING wrong with butterflies and skulls at all!

The Serendipitous Week of Flutterbys Pt.2: In a seemingly telepathically coincidental situation, Lisette had also requested for a butterfly to honour her departed mother, albeit with a preference to have it small and simple. So we’d have adopted a simple yet layered approach to make her vector Celtic butterfly design (in honour of her mother’s love for butterflies and her Irish-Scottish lineage, and to incorporate her initials EMR) more interesting… via a 3d engraved finish!
Once again, my honour!
I DO “SMALL” tattoos too, no tatts too small!

The Serendipitous Week of Flutterbys Pt. 1:
Renée’s Flutterby of Family; here we’d have endeavoured on the customisation of butterflies and roses on and for the wearer of this design to signify her commemoration of her mother (whose name is Rose and whose love for butterflies defines her). I’d have adapted the interpretation into an intricate wrought iron inspired filigree design to fit into an anklet tattoo (that the wearer’s mother herself has got as well..!) that hints at but does not actually connect, instead the Teo pointed ends traverses and converge in front of her leg to point at her zodiac sign - Pisces!
Had much fun doing this, and thanks for the trust Renée!

Tim’s Steampunk Warrior: an eclectic mix of clockwork gears, Victorian filigree, Art Nouveau motif, and a lion head wearing Berserker with circuitry facial tattoos in all his feral finesse all rendered in illustrative style!!

Had a blast freehanding this project, inspired by Sleeping At Last’s “Neptune” (a beautiful song too, go check it out if you haven’t!). Thank you Kaspen, for the honour and trust in my artistic interpretation!

UNEDITED UNFILTERED Video of Ryan’s Pokémon inspired sleeve. Grand finale!
This project has been interesting from the concept and get go: in that we have endeavoured to reinterpret Magi Karp and Gyarados from Pokémon as part of the evolutionary process from the NEOTRADITIONAL koi on the forearm... to form the general silhouette of a dragon, with the Fingerwaves representing its claws and talons!
Well, now that the last session of tying up the proverbial loose ends is done and down we’d just have to wait for things to heal up and take them healed pics!
