Dear all,
Thank you for your strong support for the sell-out inaugural run of The LKY Musical from 21 July to 16 August 2015. It was emotional and deeply moving for us to see the overwhelming reception to our labour of love, show after show.
The journey over the last 3 years has been nothing short of miraculous. We like to believe that our lack of experience was compensated by our conviction and passion for the project. More than a tribute, we see the musical project as capturing the spirit of Mr Lee and the founding fathers who fought with him – to punch above one's weight, to believe that anything is possible.
We wish to express our thanks to the fabulous creative, production, sales and marketing team, as well as the wonderful cast, musicians, costume, hair, makeup, sound, lighting, technical crew and all behind-the-scene heroes for their dedication to this project. A special shout-out to all our sponsors (in particular, the presenting sponsor OUE) and partners without whom there was no way we could have brought this project to the stage.
We would also like to thank each one of you (the audience) for your support of the show. We are glad that you have been inspired by the show and touched by the story. We have received so many emails and text messages telling us how proud we should be to have created a world-class musical about the Singapore story. We are truly humbled and hope that you too will come away inspired to believe in the impossible.
A dream has come to life and we thank you for sharing in this journey with us.
Given the tremendous demand for a restaging of the show, we will be back and look forward to welcoming you to the show again.
