Took a trip to Port Klang with Cloop β’ close the fashion loop to see the factory behind those big yellow clothing bins around Singapore.
Life Line Clothing is recycling our textile waste and keeping as much of it out of landfill as they can. They get around 70 tonnes of textile waste every week. Over 300 workers sort through all of it by hand, pack them, and then it gets shipped off to other countries to be resold as second-hand clothes.
Reminder to myself to buy less and use what I already have.
