Hello Singapore!

I’m excited to be playing two specially curated shows for you at the end of this month featuring original music, brand new compositions written over the past few months and some of my favourite R&B classics along the way.

These shows will be especially meaningful because you’ll be hearing some of my latest compositions for the very first time before I bring them on tour in June.

Besides the flute originals I’ll also be belting out a couple of vocal numbers just for you guys 👀

Some albums have just been around for as long as I can remember. “Weekend in LA” by George Benson was constantly playing during family car rides. My dad had it on repeat like it was the only album in the car.

All the tunes were earworms but “We All Remember Wes” really refused to leave. Funky, simple…just feels good.

Last year in China I was on a long bike ride and came across a swinging version by the master .broom and the great late Russell Malone. Somehow the ride felt easier after that…the music just carried the whole thing forward.

That version stayed with me. Tried it out with Kenny and this is what we came up with. Also…Stevie Wonder wrote the tune. Casual. 🤯🔥

It’s only April but this past week is already setting the bar uncomfortably high. Good people, honest music, questionable amount of food, new connections and old friendships…everything just clicked.

Met some seriously inspiring young talents too…reminds you the flame keeps getting passed on.

Thank you for the memories, the warmth and the energy. I’ll carry this forward.

And yes…something big is on the way 🎶🫶🏾

Hello Guangdong!

Really happy to be back and to share music with you again. I’ll be performing a duo chamber concert on 15 April (Wednesday) at Golden Jazz in Zhuhai together with my good friend Kenny Du on guitar.

We’ve prepared a selection of music that we truly love; from classic jazz standards to some of the most well-loved R&B tunes. It will be an intimate setting and we hope to connect with you through our most honest and heartfelt sound.

Seats are limited so do make your reservations early.

Always a joy working with these young lions and lionesses from The years may pass and faces may change but the spirit in that room stays the same, full of energy, curiosity and a genuine love for the music.

It has been an honour guiding you all and watching you grow both as a band and as individuals. Everything I shared comes from years of listening, observing and putting in the work. I hope it encourages you to keep pushing, keep questioning and keep the music honest.
