One of the stranger builds - in terms of the end game...

Supernatural Confessions founder Eugene Tay will be running a series of "Haunting Heritage" tours on Pulau Ubin in October.
One stop on the tour is the German Girl's Shrine.
Eugene thought that one of my miniature doors inspired by the original shrine would be cool as tour merch - so I made a quick prototype for him to take along on the media tour.
It wasn't planned, but he felt a pull from the shrine to leave the miniature behind - so now it sits within.

Big is beautiful but small is so much way cooler!
Earlier this week I finished my first run of a Summer School Miniature Terrain Workshop at Lasalle's Puttnam School of Film and Animation.
10 animation students, a pile of compressed foam and PVC boards, coffee stirrers. chopsticks and glue. A few little bits and bobs, a coat of paint and some model vegetation ... and voila!
